Welcome to April. Spring hasn’t quite sprung in Portland, so we thought we’d load up on the indoor entertainment. This week: hours of viewing enjoyment on WKE—D.I.Y. America hits double digits with episode #10, Eric and Andrew share some tips for efficient file storage on Club AV, DJ Safi reviews the best in new and old music on Hits & Misses and our Feature of the Week takes us to Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Full details below and lots more to see at WKE.

Graffiti artists Sace, Abhor, Amaze, Deadcat, Sleezer and Earsnot talk about legal versus illegal graffiti.

Memory almost full? This week, the boys from Club AV share some tips on how to get more bang from your hard disk space.

This episode of Hits & Misses reviews new releases by Seattle’s THEESatisfaction and Portland’s Black Prairie, and looks back at the 1984 classic Minutemen release Double Nickels on the Dime.

Our feature of the week is the official music video for “Johnny Anorak” by NYC band The Secret History. It’s the first single off their album The World That Never Was, out now on Le Grand Magistery.
The Secret History is made up of members of cult indie-pop group My Favorite, plus singer Lisa Ronson (daughter of mid-’70s Bowie guitar god Mick Ronson).
The video was shot in one very long day in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, and features Jed Smith of My Teenage Stride as “Johnny.” A Greencard Pictures production, directed by Ben Hughes of W+K NYC.
